ABOUT NOW OPEN AGENCY

I've spent my career opening things: hotels, coworking, restaurants and event programs.

Now I do it for you.

MY STORY

Ten years of building marketing from the ground up.

Now Open Agency comes out of a decade spent doing exactly this kind of work from the inside, not consulting on it from the outside. As Marketing Director at Zoku, the hybrid hotel and hospitality brand, I built out the marketing and PR function and was part of the team that tripled Zoku's European portfolio, including new-city openings in Copenhagen and Vienna, with Paris to follow. That meant running brand, press, and demand generation against a real construction timeline, more than once, with a small in-house team doing all of it.

Alongside that, I founded Events For Locals, a curated event social media platform for people living in Amsterdam and Haarlem, because I was tired of generic "top 10 things to do" content and wanted to point people toward what was actually worth their time. It's grown into a community of 16,000+ followers, and it now doubles as a direct line to venues and brands planning their own openings. which is the other half of what became Now Open.

Before hospitality, I built bunq's first content marketing team from scratch. and I hold a degree in Digital and Integrated Marketing Communications from Arizona State University. Now Open is where that combination, hotel-opening experience, an audience built from nothing, and hands-on growth marketing, comes together for clients directly.

HOW WE WORK

What you can expect from me.

I work backward from your launch date

Every plan starts with your actual opening or event date and gets built in reverse from there, not from a generic marketing calendar.

I'm in the room, not downstream

We work alongside ownership, operations and sales from the start, because a launch plan built in isolation from the business rarely survives contact with it.

I say what I actually think

If a timeline is too tight or a positioning idea won’t hold up, I’ll tell you before you spend money finding out.

I plan for the day after opening

Launch buzz is a moment. We build for what keeps bookings, tickets and interest coming after it fades. This meas supporting with reactivations too.

I work alone on purpose

A senior, hands-on generalist beats a large team that hands your launch to a junior colleague who's free that week.

I measure against your business, not vanity metrics

Bookings, tickets and sponsor renewals (not just impressions) are how I judge my work.
